A cooperation agreement between the Asharqia Chamber and "Tarahum Al Sharqiya" for the rehabilitation of released prisoners
Asharqia Chamber and the National Committee for the Welfare of Prisoners and Released Prisoners and Their Families in the Eastern Region "Tarahum Al Sharqiya" concluded a cooperation agreement that includes several joint activities, and contributes to the rehabilitation of prisoners and provides them with suitable job opportunities, as well as promoting the committee's activities through the chamber's various platforms.
The agreement was signed on the part of the Chamber by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Badr bin Sulaiman Al-Raziza, and on the part of the Society, the Chairman of the Board of Directors Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Sulaiman, in the presence of the Executive Director of the Society, Dr. Yousef Al-Rashed, and the Secretary-General of the Chamber, Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel.
For this part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Raziza, praised the efforts of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Welfare in the Eastern Region, and said, "The system of its initiatives and development programs has contributed a lot to developing the capabilities of inmates and achieving their needs," and that the role played by the Committee is large and effective and supports the national vision. in achieving a vibrant society.
He pointed out that this agreement comes within the Chamber's main objectives to work on promoting the concepts of social responsibility in the business sector, and that it aims to contribute to the rehabilitation of prisoners and provide suitable job opportunities for them and their families, in addition to supporting the work and activities of the Committee by promoting them on the Chamber's various platforms.
According to this agreement, the Chamber assists in opening the fields of work and employment for the released and their eligible children, according to what the two parties deem appropriate, and to rehabilitate the prisoners and open the way for them to return and integrate into society more positively and effectively.
The agreement, which was signed at the chamber's headquarters in Dammam a few days ago, provides for allowing the committee to hold special events and programs in the chamber's various halls, as well as to benefit from the training programs implemented by the chamber, to rehabilitate the categories that the committee takes care of, namely the released prisoners and their families.
In this regard, the agreement provides the Committee with opportunities to participate in all exhibitions and public events organized by the Chamber, to announce and promote the Committee and the events it implements. It also allows it to benefit from human capabilities and expertise by volunteering in the programs and events organized by the Asharqia Chamber.
